Stevens Pass Ski Area is located on the crest of the Cascade Range and receives abundant and frequent snowfalls. Cool air often drifts from the eastern slope of the range, through the Stevens Pass area, keeping the snow relatively dry. The winter weather is usually comfortable, with temperatures often in the mid-20s.
