Wintergreen Ski Resort is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, 43 miles southwest of Charlottesville, Va. It is a dream come true for all sports enthusiasts. You can ski in the morning and play golf in the afternoon, all in the same day. Its unique setting, with a 3,000-foot elevation difference between the mountain and valley, makes temperatures vary so that skiing and golf facilities can be open at the same time. Wintergreen is a family-oriented resort offering numerous trails and slopes with an excellent variety of beginner to expert terrain and a vertical drop of more than 1,000 feet.
