Sugarbush Resort is one of the nation's premier skiing resorts, with 115 trails descending from six interconnected mountain areas in the heart of Vermont's Green Mountain National Forest. With a jaw-dropping 2,650 feet of vertical, some of the most revered skiing terrain and an unparalleled commitment to skier and rider services, Sugarbush has constantly earned the praise of skiers and the ski media, alike. Three new tree-skiing trails have been added to the trail map. Sugarbush has put $28 million into lift and snowmaking expansion. An incredibly powerful state of the art snowmaking system, which begins with a 63-million gallon snowmaking pond, includes a new distribution system and ends on the mountain with "Sugarbush Snow." As for lifts, Sugarbush will have the most high-speed detachable quads in the eastern United States. A total of seven new lifts, including four high-speed detachable quads, brings the lift total to 18.
