Snowbasin is one of the oldest continuously operating ski areas in the nation. Ever since the first hearty skier schussed down these slopes in 1939, people from all over the United States have come to enjoy our exhilarating powder snow and majestic mountain scenery. With twelve lifts, Snowbasin is easily able to transport 14,650 skiers per hour onto 2,820 acres of packed trails, powder bowls and glades. This terrain makes skiing at Snowbasin a sheer delight. The Tubing Hill has six lanes with varying skill levels and speeds, and is serviced by it's own handle towl lift. There are five Nordic Trails (26 km) with 3 rated as easier, 1 more difficult and 1 most difficult. Ski Season dates are Thanksgiving day to mid-April (conditions permitting). Operating hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Daily. Some upper level lifts start closing at 3:30 p.m. daily. There are 3 terrain parks with one more to be announced.
