Angel Fire Resort is located in northern New Mexico in the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range. Centuries ago, American Indians hunting plentiful game in the Moreno Valley saw the pink light of alpenglow on these mountains. They christened the valley "the land of Angel Fire." Years later, miners searching for gold, silver and copper enjoyed the same incredible vistas. Today, skiers enjoying the pleasures of a winter vacation gaze out over the still pristine valley, the land of Angel Fire.
