Donner Ski Ranch is one of the last family owned and operated California Ski Resorts. It features a bar and restaurant, and has 6 chairlifts.  There are 460 acres with 52 runs with terrain for all abilities of skiers.  It is located approximately 85 miles east of Sacramento  toward Reno on U.S route 40
