Description
Comfortable Bousquet Ski Area house for rent in the Berkshires of Massachusetts USA.
Set on the edge of the village of West Stockbridge, this vacation rental is available for family gatherings or a family reunion or a ski holiday to Bousquet, Butternut, Catamount, or Jiminy Peak Resorts.
The house has 2 living rooms, dining room, sun room, 5 bedrooms, 3 ½ baths, new eat-in kitchen, laundry room, games room, large deck that stretches the front length of the house, patio in rear, large back garden with teak garden swing and path leading into woods.
This 1840 farmhousehouse sleeps 10 to 12 people and is fully equipped. There's a sewing kit in the laundry room as well as an ironing board and iron; there's a first aid kit in the powder room and just about every kitchen electronic imaginable. There are several make-up mirrors and hair dryers as well. All linen, towels, blankets, china, flatware, cooking utensils, etc. are included.
There's a lot to do during your stay in our Berkshire rental, be it summer, fall, winter or spring.
Winter provides sledding, ice skating, snow mobiling as well as downhill and cross country skiing. There are a number of ski areas in the vicinity: just around the corner there is Bousquet; in Great Barrington, Butternut with Catamount and Jiminy Peak nearby. Even the trails of southern Vermont are close enough for day trips.
In spring, and in fact all year, the area offers the opportunity to visit local wineries and breweries, meet artisian cheese makers, shop the lovely antique and craft shops and explore an array of outlet shops as well as charming boutiques in surrounding villages.
Summer activities include biking, hiking, tennis, horseback riding, swimming, water parks, canoe tours, fishing, and white water rafting on the Deerfield river. Jiminy Peak offers lifts to mountain tops for access to mountain bike trails as well as tubing. Golf is available at a number of public courses which include Cranwell Resort Spa & Golf Club and Egremont Country Club. Jacob's Pillow, the avant garde dance company founded in 1933 by Ted Shawn, is situated in the town of Becket. Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, is in nearby Lenox.
Autumn is a celebration of foliage with crisp colors the perfect background for apple and pumpkin picking. The historic Mohawk trail leads to the top of Mount Greylock and is a lovely scenic drive.

Deposit
We request 25% of the total cost of the visit in order to secure a reservation. An additional 25% is due 60 days prior to arrival with the 50% balance due 30 days prior to arrival. Once a booking is confirmed, we will send you email invoices that can be paid by credit card via Paypal. For reservations made within 30 days of arrival date, we will invoice 100% of the cost of the visit to secure the reservation.

Payments are only accepted in US Dollars unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance.
Reservations for one night incur a 50% surcharge.
Cancellation
There are no penalities for cancellations made more than 60 days before the arrival date. Within 60 days of the arrival date, cancellations may result in forfeiture of the advance payments unless substitute guests can be found for the period reserved. Within thirty days of the arrival date, cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay may result in forfeiture of payments made unless substitute guests can be found. Failure to pay the final balance may be deemed a cancellation.
